Miss Erica agrees with the whole “Trash The Dress” philosophy - she’s never going to wear it again, so why NOT have some fun?
We didn’t get her nearly as dirty as she (and we) would’ve liked, but we may just do one more session with her, and make it a point to go find some mud puddles or a pond. :)
Jake grumbled quite a bit about HAVING to do this, but I think it was all for show! Erica tells me he admitted afterwards to having a good time!
We had a special guest with us that day! Miss Kate from Juxtapose Photography went with us too! She’s nutty, and she’s fun! Can’t wait to work with her again!

Some of you may remember Jamie & Justin. These two were one of the finalists in our “Most Romantic Proposal” contest.
The Magnolia Theater is where Justin proposed to Jamie, so it only seemed fitting to do an engagement session there!
A huge thank you to Clayton Loulan for taking care of us while we were there!
These two were FAB to work with, and we’re super excited about photographing their wedding!
This was a first! We did a bridal/engagement/family session all rolled into one!
The only real requirement that I was given was to make sure I caught the look on Randy’s face as he saw Tomi in her wedding dress for the very first time.

Tomi & Randy are getting married in the Fort Worth Stockyards, so it only seemed fitting that we do their pre-wedding photos there too!
I just adored these two the first time I met them, and even more so after spending an afternoon with them! They both have wonderful senses of humor and are just a riot to be around (Randy refers to Tomi’s veil as “head gear” LOL!).

There are a lot of differing opinions on brides trashing their wedding dresses after the wedding.
Some love the idea and can’t wait to create some fun, sexy images without worrying about getting the dress dirty, some hate the idea and can’t imagine WHY anyone would want to ruin a dress that they (or their parents) paid thousands of dollars for.

So what happens when a wedding vendor gets married? In this case, Chelsea & Josh called upon a bunch of good friends and fellow wedding vendors, and closed up shop for the weekend. I’m sure it broke some hearts, since Chelsea, Josh and Miss Loy (Josh’s mom) make the BEST cakes you’ve ever tasted!
